Shilt From several family member's applications to the Eastern Cherokee Nation, I have been able to read through their statements on their applications. In a deposition by his daughter Sarah Caroline Graham-Burkhart (speaking of her father William Jacob Golden) Dated June 29, 1908 Racine MO and attached to her application #31695 to the Eastern Cherokee's, she States that her father was of Cherokee Blood. He was born in Virginia, moved to Tennessee, then to Ozark Arkansas and finally to Missouri. She also states that other relatives in tennessee were the Crow family that lived near them within Six Miles of the Tennessee River on the Decantur Road. any information regarding this family would be greatly appreciated.
