Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2hB.2ACI/131.1 Message Board Post: I looked in the Meigs County census for Samuel Jiles/Giles and did not find him listed but his widow, Sarah, is listed in the 1900 Meigs County census as follows: Sarah Giles, 55 (Oct 1846-Widow- mother of 8 with 6 living); Gid M, 22 (Jul 1877) and Celie Ann, 15 (April, 1885) You may already have this from the 1880 Roane County census: Samuel, 32: Sarah, 34; William, 13; Lydia, 10; Nancy, 8; Laura, 6 and Gideon, 2. Lydia married Welcome Waller and some of their descendants live in my immediate area.
