Am interested in a William C. Godsey who m. Mary Jane Martin in 1872 in Meigs Co., Tn. and whether there is any relationship to a Robert Lee Godsey who m. a Myrtle Ann Campbell in 1909 probably in Rhea Co. Myrtle was the dau. of James and Margaret Ann Davis Campbell. She and Robert had 2 children, Virginia and Robert, Jr. before she died in 1918 during the flu epidemic. Both the Martin line and the Davis line are my lines and am just wondering if the two Godsey males tie together in some way. I am assuming that they do. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
