If he were born in Meigs before it was Meigs County it is possible for him to have lived on the Indian lands. If you will go to www.tngenweb.org/monroe and look for a link to Intruders on Cherokee lands, you may find hims listed there. I think there is also a web site with a record of Return J. Meigs records on it. If memory is serving me correctly it is on the Monroe Co site also. Joyce G. Reece, Rootsweb Listminder for South East Tennessee, North East Tennessee, Meigs County, Tennessee. According to McAfee W32/APost@mm ("APost" or "New Backdoor"} worm has been spreading over the past 24 hours through the Microsoft Outlook email program. This is a medium--on watch worm. The infected email can come from the addresses that you recognize and may contain the following information: Subject: AS PER YOUR REQUEST. The Body will say "Please find attached file for your review. I look forward to hear from you again very soon. Thank you." The attachment will say README.EXE. Running the attachement will cause the worm to copy itself to every entry in the user's Microsoft Outlook Address book. It will then display a small dialog box titled "Urgent". This dialog bix contains one single large button labeled "OPEN". If this button is pressed the worm then sends out further copies of itself, displays an error message box with the title "WinZip Self Extractor: Warning" and then terminates. Please be very careful opening any attachments and make SURE your virus program is completely up to date. Please contact me via jreece@icx.net if you have questions Joyce G. Over the past year or so I have see several inquiries concerning L & N Railroad Employees. Yesterday I learned that there was a publication called "The Louisville & Nashville Employees Magazine". I saw only one volumn and it was huge. It comprised the newsletters and advertisments put into book form covering the time of March 1928 until Feb 1929. It had hundreds and hundreds of pages, no indexes, table of contents or any printer/publisher information. It would be an awesome search but well worth the effort to surmount a brick wall...should you have one. I saw this one volume # IV is in Carneige Library in Etowah Tn. The Librarian is trying to learn if there if there are other volumes, where they might be and whatever other info she can gather. I will let you all know if I learn anything. I know nothing else concerning the book but just wanted to leat you all know that there was hope after all. Joyce G. This is Buttram Cemetery, on Highway 27. The church asked about is Walnut Grove Church. It was originally built in 1905 as a community building and school. My aunt taught there in her first teaching job in the 1920s. According to the book _Churches and Schools of Rhea County, Tennessee_, the school closed in 1948 or 1949, and the building has since been used as a church, first as a branch of the Trinity United Methodist Church and later non-denomination. This is it's current directory listing at Rhea County Online: INFO: SS 10 a.m., MW 11 a.m., CTU 6 p.m., EV 7 p.m., WE 7 p.m. Walnut Grove Full Gospel, Non-Denominational Hwy. 27 N.
