Susanna Pittman in 1826 they moved to McNairy co. in 1837 with Annie Pittman b. 1765 and his parents, John Rogers and unknown wife. 2. Erwin Q. Rogers (son of John S.) b. 1829 d. 1870 in McNairy married Sophronia Barkwell daughter of Julius Barkwell and Rutha Harper. 3. James Sanders Rogers b. 1858 d. 1920 (son of Erwin Q.) married Minnie May Thrasher (1870-1954) daughter of Pugh Houston Thrasher (b. 1843 in Lauderdale Co. Al. d. 1922 McNairy and Mary Elizabeth Howard b. 1845 in McNairy and died 1891. She is the daughter of Willaim Howard b. 1803 d. 1879 in McNairy and Elizabeth Ann Jolly b. 1819 d. 1879.
