Velma: abstract reads as follows: NO 1667----Joel Penson assignee of William Findly by virtue of certigicate warrant N0 6183 paid by the R.W.T. for 20 acres and dated 31st day July 1824 enters the same in the 9th district in range 4 and section 3, beginning 50 poles North and 30 poles west of South-east corner of the 3rd section in the 4th range runs thence North 50 poles and East for complement. Nov 15th 1824 Joel Penson Loc N0 1783---Martin Finley--by vitue of R.W.T. NO 6712 for 11 acres of land enters the same in the 9th district 4th range and 1st section, beginning 18 poles west of the one mile post east of the south west corner of said section runing thence east with the south boundasy line of the state 58 poles thence north for compliment. 26th March 1825 Martin Finley Loc I haven't worked with the land grants so can't tell you the meaning of any of the text.
