Does anyone have any info on Samuel Houston, I know he was in McNairy Co on his way west to TX? Also, I have seen a Cherokee Reservation mentioned in Tupelo, MS..could someone give me info on this?..I have a elusive couple by the name of Moses & Leditha (Williams) Burks that I can't find in 1850..I know they lived in AL for a while ....Leditha's ftr was from NC but her mother was Cherokee & from KY...they are in Lafayette Co, MS in 1860...Hope someone has some info..Peggy
