Hi, My LANIER's are: Amanda Almeta LANIER, b 1852, place unknown William E. (Ervin)LANIER, sometimes referred to in documents as Irvine) which has caused some confusion. William was born ca 1820 in Giles Co.TN Source of birth is 1850 Lauderdale Co. AL Census, which lists him as being 30 years old. That's where my information ends.......I have been told that William E.'s father was Henry LANIER, but I have yet to find any documentation that would prove this.
