Dear Lanelle: The only Mary that I have that is in your Mary's age area is born about 1836 to Mariah Scroggens LaRue and Stephen larue. Mariah or Maria (both are used in census) scroggens born abt 1790 in nc. Married 1819 in Jefferson co. AL to Stephen LaRue. On census his children say he was born in TN. He died around 1837 Mc Nairy co. This is all I have, This family must have truly belongs to a protection program Let me know if I can help in any other way.
