I'm not sure I can help shed any light on this Larue family either but think that Mary Larue who married John Dunn could have been the daughter of Willian Calvin Larue and Marena/Maria Owens. C./2/M/W/single/son/TN/TN/TN Mariah Jones/90/F/W/widowed/in family/NC/VA/NC/unemployed It would appear William Calvin Larue has died by 1850 and his wife had remarried to a Jones. I received William Calvin Larue's name from a correspondent: I am currently looking for any info about the LARUE family. William Calvin LARUE b. 8/27/1817 d. 6/28/1872 married to Marena OWENS b. 3/10/1823 d. 3/18/1897. They had nine children: Stephen Bedford, James L., Sarah Jane, Mary Marriah, Julia Ann, Alexander Morgan, Almeda Emmaline, Robert Lee, and Elizah Walker all born in Enville, TN. Any info about any LARUE family members in Enville would be greatly appreciated. My mother and I are planning a trip this summer to Enville and would like to gather as much info before leaving. There is certainly not very much supporting evidence to support Mary Larue's marriage to Charles Bingham. Here is a census record for him. 1870 Census Henderson Co., TN.
