Probate records of St. Clair County showed he deceased, Jane GREEN CADDEL widow prior to 31 Mar 1832. There may be a possibility that Jane may have moved into household of her nephew, Thomas CADDEL in Cherokee County, AL as noted from the census record. Does any of this connect with any TN family? There also may be connections with McMinn County, TN. I have two brothers - William CADDEL and Benjamin CADDEL that both died during the 1830s in AL, leaving minor children. I have find only one descendant...my gr gr grandfather, Andrew Jackson CADDELL and have confirmed that he was the son of William CADDEL of St. Clair Co., AL. Any information is appreciated.
