    1. [TNMCNAIR-L] ROLL CALL
    2. David Cagle
    3. Charles Cagle was in McNairy Co., TN in 1822 before it was a county. He was appointed by the Hardin County Court to view and lay out a road from Browns Ferry to Able Oxford's place. Where was Browns Ferry and Able Oxfords? Where there McNairy County members of Company G, First Confederate Cavalry Regiment? Before it was assigned to a regiment on April 1, 1862, the Company was know as the "Hardin County Yankee Hunters" and operated in West Tennessee under the leadership of Capt. C. S. Robertson, Lt. J. W. Irwin and several 2nd Lt.'s. At times they were stationed at Brownsville, Corinth and Henderson Station, then in Madison Co. I have a "G" Company roster that I will check for your McNairy Co. ancestor. If you have a soldier that belongs on this roster, let me know. David Cerro Gordo, TN
