My husband's ancestor is Joannah Butler, b. 27 Feb 1844. Her mother was Margaret Waldrup who was born about 1817 in one of the Carolinas. Who was her father? I think it possible that he was Edmund Butler who may have died before 1850 but can't prove it. Can anyone help? Johnita
