My great great grandfather Jarrett Scott was born in Marshall CO. AL according to family records was in Civil War. He was married to Mahalia Banister from Cobb CO GA. She is buried near Walnut MS. Have no idea where he is buried. Record in family bible shows that he died Alcorn, CO, MS. They had 3 sons, my grandfather Thomas S. Scott, John and Andrew. My grandfather Thomas married Clarissa Luida Taylor, (at her home),daughter of William Zachary Taylor of Ramer TN. I know nothing beyond Jarrett being born in 1838 so I don't know if there is a connection or not. If anything turns up I'll let you know.
