10/17/1998 I am trying to research the Barton family of McNairy County. After many months of research, the only thing I do know is that my husband's ancestor was Margaret Ann Barton, who married Jackson Monroe Willis in that county in l867. Who were her parents? Grandparents? Are there any Bartons in the area who would be willing tho share information? Believe she was born in Alabama, for the l860 McNairy County census roll lists her birthplace as Alabama. Help! Also researching Willis family.
