I am researching the family of Ed Comer who lived near Selmer. His daughter was Mary Malissa Comer who married James Monroe (Monty) McKenzie about 1903. They had three children: Inez buried as an infant in McKenzie Cemetery, Roy and Troy. They moved to Springtown/Weatherford, TX in 1921 via Arkansas. Monty McKenzie was a constable in McNairy County and was the son of David Pickney McKenzie (McKinzie or a variation thereof. Know very little about Comers.
