Hi! I am fairly new to this list and have been just lurking for a while, to see if I would see anyone kin to me. I am looking for someone else that might be researching the McKAY family. I am descended from Hugh Jackson McKay, who was born 1820 in AL, and I believe that he was the s/o William McKay of Ireland, and his wife Jane ? of SC. I am descended from Robert Franklin McKay, s/o Hugh Jackson and his wife, (possibly Matilda Reece). Robert had a twin sister Mary F. McKay that married a L.H. Marrow. I think that they lived in Ramer, TN and had a daughter, Virgie, that married a Stanfield. I don't know much about this family, but I think that Virgie had two brothers, (at least), Devero and Clyde. Anyone know this family? Do you know of anyone researching the McKay family? I would like to share info with anyone researching this family. Thanks.
