I am searching for anyone who is interested in McGaritys . My great great grandfather was William E. McGarity born 1818 in So. Carolina he and his brother James McGarity moved to Mcnairy Co. in approx. 1860 - 1870. William married Rebecca Findley dughter of Brice Findley. In my research I've seen many different spellings of the name Mcgarity all referring to the same person so how you McGarity is spelled does not exclude anyone.Thanks
