    3. Virginia, I have McKinzie (variations on spelling) as a collateral line, so I'm not actively researching them. I thought you, and possibly others, might be interested in the following tidbits: Kesiah REYNOLDS/RUNNELS marr. Reuben McKINSEY, Pulaski Co., KY, 1811 --- she was the daughter of Moses & Susannah RUNNELS. Family moved to Franklin Co., TN, ca. 1819 until Moses died in 1827. Widow Susannah RUNNELS moved to McNairy Co. in 1830 where she lived until her death in 1859. McNairy Co. Court Minute Book, pp. 393-395, show proceedings of a case heard involving the heirs of Moses and Susannah RUNNELS. The "heirs of Kesiah & Reuben McKinzey and others" are listed as petitioners, so it's apparent they were deceased by November 1861. Also on p. 393 of the McNairy Co. Court Minute Book, dated 7th Oct. 1861: "This day Andrew McKinzie came into Court and was appointed Guardian for James D. McKinzie minor child of David P. McKinzie and gave bond in the sum of Two hundred Dollars with B.G. East, John N. Barnhill & G.A. Daugherty for securities who with the said McKinzie acknowledged the Execution of the same in Open Court."
