Hi, I just joined this list. I'm researching the Kinchen family. Laney Kinchen was born in McNairy Co., TN abt 1854. He married Emily Frances Hughes 7-18-1872. They had four children Dinah Lela, Solomon, Sarah, and John. Dinah Lela, b. 8-23-1878 in McNairy Co., was my husband's grandmother, and she told us they came to AR when she was just a little girl. We believe Laney's father and mother were Joseph Kinchen and Martha ____? Laney put up a $1250 marriage bond for Emily. I have their marriage license.
