Researching the family of David Floyd born NC or SC in 1794. Place of birth on the 1870 census was giving as SC all other census of his children gave NC as Place of Birth for David and wife Jane!! David and Jane [ unknown born SC 1796 i think] had these children. [1] Andrew J. Floyd, born TN 1819-1821 died after 1910 census. married [1] Charity unknown] [2] Amanda C. Tigner [2] Jane Floyd born TN 1828 [3] Rebecca Floyd born TN 1834, Married William Hughes [4] John A. Floyd born TN 1835, Married Sarah E. Dillon [5] Eliza Floyd born TN 1841 [6] Peggy Floyd born Tishmingo Co. MS 1846 [7] Larkin Floyd born Tishmingo C. MS 1847 My line descends through Andrew J. Floyd and Amanda C. Tigner.
