Tom Of what period was your Dock PONDS? I am told that my GGGgrandfather William POND was married in McNairy co. in 1816. His son was John Marion POND, whos son was my Ggrandfather James Irvin POND. James and a brother Joseph moved to Ark around 1860.Severial brothers, uncles etc followed them after the war but others did not. I have also seen the family surname both as POND & PONDS does any of your info match any of this? Anyone else have anything on this family or that of the Marion Moses Meek family of the mid 1850s also?
