To anyone out there! I'm looking for the family and descendants of William PHILLIPS and Lucinda ELLIS, both born ca 1827 in Tennessee according to their ages given in the 1860 Census. He was shown as a tenant farmer living in the area of the Mud Creek P.O. They had: 1) James, age 17, M, W, listed as a day laborer 2) Robert, age 10, M, W 3) Marion, age 7, M, W 4) Almeda, age 5, F, W 5) Amanda, age 2, F, W In the 1870 Census all were living in the area of the Purdy P.O. James and Robert were no longer living at home. Three more children are shown : 6) William, age, 9, M, W 7) Rebecca, age 6, F, W 8) Rufus, age 4, M, W Can anyone give a lead on this family and what happened to the children? I'd sure appreciate it!
