There were several BLANKENSHIP families in TN. Some came from VA-WV-KY-TN. My line was from VA to GA to AL to TN. (there may have been a stop in the Carolinas, I'm not sure. There are several older folks living in Guys and Chewalla related to the BLANKENSHIP and TAYLOR lines.
