I am researching the Richard Newton Varnell family. He married Alice Davis in 1875. They married in Limestone Co., AL. There were 3 brothers and 1 sister. William Thomas V. b. about 1850 who later went to OK, Samuel Houston V. who married Sarah Flannigan (Limestone Co. also), John M. V. m. Sarah Stanton, and Mary Elizabeth who married James or John Chambers (Limestone Co, 1870). Any information would be appreciated. I also have a question about where an Ebenezer cemetery is in McNairy Co. I was told that you could only get to it by wagon or etc.. Richard Newton Varnell was buried there in 1919. Sue Crews
