There is an auction running on ebay until January 6th that is offering a letter that was sent from McNairy County to San Augustine, Marshall Texas. It is auction number 5547269291. The letter is dated January 20th, 1845. I'd tell you who the names were, but it's the old style writing and I can't quite make them out. The description says it is a long letter and has info about a man shot by a boy. I have no interest in this auction. Just passing it along incase it's someones ancestor.
