This is my first post on this list. I am looking for any information on the Phillips of McNairy County. As I understand the facts, William Phillips married Lucinda Ellis about 1848 in Milledgeville. I found one listing of William C., but I was also told he was William George or Dock. Whichever he was, he was my great, great grandfather. He was born about 1829 and died about 1895. He is buried in Parker County, Texas. Apparently, his son William Young Phillips was born in 1861. He married Flora Tennessee Mithchell sometime between 1885 and 1894 and all of them moved to Parker County, where both Williams died. Can anyone fill in any blanks or supply any information prior to them? Royce Phillips Iowa
