We have snow & ice in Van Buren, more ice than snow. The linemen are using shotguns until their shoulders ache to blast the iced tree limbs. It is much faster and we get our electricity back on sooner. Some have been without electricity for up to four days. Our gas furnace won't work without power so my husband purchased a zero clearance gas heater for emergencies. But .......that doesn't get me back on line! I had to clean house to keep busy! Ugh!
