Hello, I found it interesting that Burton/Burden has become Burden/Birmingham as well. It's funny how names get changed around throughout the years. The reason I say Burton/Burden is because in the book titled: That They Live, the name of Burden was spelled Burton in the pages copied from the bible and written that way many years ago. And, I noticed that down through the years some of the other relatives started writing the name as Burden. So, that is interesting that somehow you found it as Burden/Birmingham, because perhaps I should look further into this for my own families past-the Birmingham part of it. Especially since my ggrandmother Nancy Jane Burden Wilson was reared in that area and married my ggrandfather Samuel S. Wilson there as well. I will copy your letter to save for future reference.
