Hi List, I am wondering if the town McNairy, is the county seat for McNairy Co.? I would so much appreciate if anyone has the time for me.....to look up a Marriage Record or a Marriage Bond on a James A. Ross and Charity Jane Baze. They were married in McNairy Co. Tn. on Aug. 28, 1841 by Justice of the Peace George Adams. These were my 3rd Gr.Grandparents...and I know I will never be able to come to Mcnairy Co. to do any searching...and if anyone could find this for me...I will pay for copies or let me know where I can write to send for them through snail mail.
