Mr. Moore worked in industrial Maintenance for ITT. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his mother, Bertha Moore of Selmer, two sisters, Dot McClain of Selmer and Janet Rinehart of Selmer, and three brothers, Gary Moore of Jackson, Terry Moore of Selmer, and Charlie Moore of Bethel Springs. Mr. Simpson was an attorney for Simpson & Simpson in Selmer and Napcon in Adamsville. He was a member of Selmer First Baptist Church. He was Vice President of the Selmer Lions Club, past President of the Selmer Jaycees, and City Judge for Bethel Springs. Mr. Simpson was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and Relay of Life. He was also named Pro Bono volunteer Attorney of the Year by Legal Services. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack Matlock, paternal grandfather, John Taylor Simpson, and paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Minnie and Brett Keeter. He is survived by his wife, Aimee Seaton Simpson, his son, Jack Matthew Simpson of Selmer, his parents, Paul and Jackie Matlock Simpson of Selmer, two sisters, Amber Phegley and husband, Len, of Stephenville, TX, and Sallie Bodiford and husband, Derek, of Cleveland, Miss, one brother, Adam Simpson and wife, Kristen, on overseas missions, aunt and uncle J.D. and Brenda Matlock of Selmer, cousins, Delise, Elizabeth, and Jana Rae Matlock of Selmer, nephew and niece, Caleb and Katelyn Simpson on overseas missions, maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Myrtle Matlock Kiser and J.D. Kiser of Selmer. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Thurs., at Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Selmer.
