    3. Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper Wed., Feb. 9, 2005 MARGUERITE HESTER FORSYTHE, 78, of Memphis, TN, died Jan. 31, 2005, in Tuscumbia, AL, after a long illness. Services were Wed., Feb. 2nd at the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Selmer, TN at 1 p.m. with interment at New Salem Cemetery in Bethel Springs, TN. She is survived by a daughter Brenda Robbins and husband Rusty of Tuscumbia; sons, Terry Forsythe of Memphis and Ricky Forsythe of San Francisco, CA; a daughter, Angelina Goodman and husband Harry of Tallahassee, FL; two grandchildren Charlotte Franks, and Jennie Forsythe; sister-in-law, Betty Hester of Henderson, TN; and two gr-grandchildren, Heath and Dylan Franks. Shackelford Funeral Home of Selmer was in charge of the arrangements. ............ ROYAL C. BROWDER, 87, of Adamsville, TN, passed away on Jan. 31, 2005, at Hardin Medical Center. He was a farmer, security guard, attended Meek's Grove Freewill Baptist Church, member of the McNairy County Chapter of the Tennessee Constable's Association, and a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. Mr. Browder was preceded in death by his wife, Hannah Beatrice Browder. He is survived by three sons, Kenneth Ray Browder of Selmer, TN, Roy Eugene Browder of Michie, TN, and Billy O'Neal Browder of Adamsville; one sister, Kathleen Haynes of Gift, MS; one brother, William Russell Browder of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren and ten gr-grandchildren. Services were Thurs., Feb. 3rd at 11 a.m. in the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Moffett officiating. Burial followed in Meek's Grove Cemetery in Stantonville, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer was in charge of the arrangements. ........... DIANE SHAW, 57, of Michie, TN, passed away on Jan. 31, 2005, at Magnolia Regional Healthcare of Corinth, MS. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Hall, and one sister, Michelle Hall. She is survived by her mother, Edna Burrow Hall of Michie; her husband, Steve Shaw; one daughter, Tammy Ferguson of Memphis, TN; two son, Steven Shaw of Riverside, CA and Dale Shaw of Anchorage, AK; one sister, Lynn Wall of Cincinnati, OH; two brothers, Johnnie Hall of Crestview, FL and Don Hall of Nashville, TN and seven grandchildren. Services were Thurs., Feb. 3rd at 11 a.m. in the Shackelford Chapel in Acton, TN with Adam Donahoe officiating. Burial followed in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer was in charge of the arrangements. ........... LOU JANE HUGHES HUBANKS, 81, passed away on Jan. 31, 2005, at Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, TN. She was a member of the Old Union Non-Denominational Church, served as an alderman for the City of Finger, and a retired machine operator for Brown Shoe Company. Mrs. Hubanks was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ethel Irvin Hughes; one sister, Mary Helen Cook; and one brother, Robert Earl Hughes. She is survived by one daughter, Norma Collett and husband, Harley of Whiteville, TN; two sons, Charles (buddy) Hubanks of Finger, TN and Donnie Hubanks of Lexington, TN; three sisters, Lena Martin of Elyria, OH, Martha Chatham and husband, Paul of Waynesboro, VA and Rubye Zimmerman and husband, Wally, of Belmont, MS; one brother, J. S. Hughes and wife, Martha; nine grandchildren, and twelve gr-grandchildren. Services were Thurs., Feb. 3rd at 1 p.m. at Old Union Church in Morris Chapel with Billy Barnes and Dennis Moffett officiating. Burial followed in the Old Union Church Cemetery.
