Are there any obits or information going back to late 1883-1884? I have a great-grandfather, Henry Eugene Kiser, who died in late 1883 or early 1884, and we have not been able to find anything on him. We have no info that ties us to the other Kiser/Kizer families in McNairy Co. As far as we know, Henry E. Kiser was married to Eliza A. James and they had children: Dennie Austin, born Jan. 1876; Charles Miller, born 21 Nov. 1879; a daughter Adeline, possibly born 1881; and a daughter Nettie A., born Feb. 1884. According to family stories, G-G Kiser died either 2 months before or after Net was born. Eliza is on the 1870 and 1880 censuses of McNairy Co., and then is in Massac County, Illinois, in 1900. From there she comes with children and their spouses to Lincoln County, Nebraska. We have no information on Adeline, except that she was married, had children, but died sometime after 1900.
