Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper Sept. 22, 2004 FREDRICK GORDON YARBROUGH, 63, of Eastview, TN, died Thurs., Sept. 2, 2004 at McNairy County Regional Hospital. Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his wife Pam Yarbrough, his mother Georgia Yarbrough, and two stepsons. He was a retied employee of the McNairy County Courthouse. As was his request, there was no visitation or funeral. Anyone wishing to honor his memory, he requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society .................................................. JOHNNY FRANK WATSON, 82, of Selmer TN, died on Sept. 17, 2004 at McNairy County Health Care Center. He was a retired self-employed carpenter and member of Pleasant Site Baptist Church. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Nell Watson, his parents, Henry Frank and Cora George Watson, and one daughter, Jackie Nell Watson. He is survived by two daughters, Johnnie Marie King of Selmer, and Mary Frances Tucker of Lexington, TN; one son, Larry Neal Watson of Stantonville, TN; two sisters, Alene Whitaker and Priscilla Hockaday both of Selmer; two brothers, Henry and Floyd Watson both of Michie; six grandchildren and 5 gr-grandchildren. Mr. Treece was an electrical contractor and member of Solitude Freewill Baptist Church, the Sunday School Superintendent and Chairman of Home Missions. Mr. Treece was preceded in death by is father Clyde Treece. He is survived by his wife Linda James Treece; his mother, Inez Harris Treece of Selmer; three daughters, Rhoda Foley, Leah Stephens, and Kelly Treece all of Memphis, TN; one step-daughter, Shannon Cass of Michie, TN; one step-son, Royce Wilson of Florida, one sister, Jelva Treece Brooks of Memphis; four brothers, Douglas Treece and wife Gwelda, Darwin Treece, Darrel Treece and wife Marie, and Hoyt Treece all of Selmer; six grandchildren and four gr-grandchildren. Mr. Leatherwood's occupation was at Hardin County Stockyard and was an avid trader and member of Michie Church of God. Mr. Leatherwood is survived by his wife Neldsa Leatherwood of Selmer; his parents, Johnny and Maybell Null Leatherwood of Ramer; one brother, Rickey Leatherwood of Ramer; one sister, Debra Mayfield of Collierville, TN. Morning, Sept. 19, 2004 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Mrs. Harris was born and reared in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Walter Lee and Lessie Mae Clayton Moore. She attended McNairy County Schools and in 1941 married H. C. Harris. They made their home in the Refuge Community all their married life. Mrs. Harris worked at Harmon International at Bolivar until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ. Mr. Harris died in 1982. She is survived by two daughters, Annette Eason of Finger, TN and Betty Holmes of Bartlett, TN; two sons, Guy Ray Harris of Bethel Springs, TN and Tommy Harris of Finger. She is also survived by two sisters, Lillian Davis of Henderson, TN and Georgia Orr of Bethel Springs, TN; eleven grandchildren, fifteen gr-grandchildren, and three gr-gr-grandchildren. The husband of Mary Ann Ray Kelley, who survives; was employed for 10 years as pipe foreman with B & R Construction in Millington. Mr. Kelley was born Apr. 15, 1948 in Hardeman County, son of Mary Elizabeth Buckner Kelley of New Albany, MS and the late Albert Sommers "Pete" Kelley and lived in Whiteville all of his life. He was a member of Whiteville First Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, whom he married Nov. 12, 1966, and his mother, survivors include one daughter and her husband, Rita and Larry Hooper of Toone; one son, Roy Scott Kelley of Whiteville; three sisters, Betty Ann Cartwright of Mountain View, AR, Mary Evelyn Doyle of Whiteville, and Lois Hursh of Bethel Springs, TN; two brothers, Albert Kelley of Somerville and Larry Kelley of Mathiston, MS; five grandchildren, Robert, Becky, and Rachel Hooper, Chris and Nick Kelley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas "Doug" Kelley.
