    3. Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper Wed., Sept. 15, 2004 CHARLES "CHUCK" BENSON EARNHART, 86, died on Sept. 1, 2004 at his residence in Hohenwald, TN. Mr. Earnhart was owner of Earnhart Realty. He was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Lottie Whiteside Earnhart, his first wife, Janice Earnhart, and sister, Lillian Kennedy. Mr. Earnhart is survived by his wife Ellen Hartman Earnhart of Hohenwald, four sons, Mickey Foerster of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Robert Foerster of Singers Glen, VA, Jeff Foerster of Hohenwald, and Hans Foerster of Detroit, MI, five daughters, Susan Jerigan of Springfield, Ruth Wright of Hohenwald, Ellen Boeke of Clifton, Heidi Merryman of Adamsville, TN, and Julie Mayberry of Hohenwald, one brother, Bill Earnhart of Encinitas, CA, one sister, Doris Horner of Hendersonville, NC, fourteen grandchildren, and nine gr-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Sept. 5th at 2 p.m. by McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald with Bill Homer officiating. Burial followed in the Swiss Cemetery located in Hohenwald, TN. ................................... JAMES CLIFFORD KING was born on Dec. 26, 1923, in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late James Parvin and Althie Mullens King. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1947. Mr. King was retired from Harmon Industries where he worked as a forklift operator. He was a member of Rose Creek Sanctified Church. Mr. King passed from this life on Sept. 7, 2004, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at the age of 80 years. Other than his parents, Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife, Icie Louise King and a brother, Paul Estel King. Mr. King his survived by a daughter, Kay Weeks of Pocahontas, TN, a son, Leon King of Selmer, TN, four grandchildren, Jason Weeks of Pocahontas, Kristie Barnes of Bethel Springs, TN, Clint King and Justin King both of Selmer, and two sisters, Maycile King and Billie Dillon both of Selmer. Funeral services were held on Fri., Sept. 10th at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Darryle Vaught officiating, Burial followed at the Hunter Cemetery in Selmer, TN. ............................................................ ELMER L. WADE, 85, died on Sept. 8, 2004 at Hardin County General Hospital in Savannah. Mr. Wade was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of the Ladder Day Saints and CCO Camp. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Kizzie Bell Nichols Wade, one daughter, Jackie Beutow, one sister, and one brother. He is survived by his wife Anna Arndell Wade of Savannah, one son, John D. Wade of Los Angeles, CA, one daughter, Sharon Lesher of Savannah, one brother, Herman Wade of Sturgis, KY, nine grandchildren, twelve gr-grandchildren, and five gr-gr-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Sept. 11th at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Savannah with Bishop Ron Johnson, Clay Hunter, James White, Sister Nelwyne Bush, and Joe Plunk officiating, Burial followed at the Adamsville Cemetery in Adamsville, TN. ............................................................ Teresa Franklin, 48, died on Sept. 6, 2004 at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer. Mrs. Franklin was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and The Order of The Eastern Star. Mrs. Franklin was preceded by her mother, Freda Ratliff Bryant. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Franklin, her father, A. G. Bryant of Michie, TN, one sons, Jamie Franklin of Michie, one daughter, Miranda Walker and husband Christ of Corinth, MS, two brothers, Clinton (Fuzz) Bryant and wife Kathy of Michie, and Jeff Bryant and wife Sherry of Counce, two sisters, Stella Brown and husband Terry of Nashville, TN, and Becky Bryant of Savannah, two grandchildren, Will Phillips and Luke Walker both of Counce. She also leaves some very special family and friends. Also Patricia McElhenny of Selmer, TN, Ricky Bryant and Linda Bryant both of Michie and Bill Phillips of Corinth, MS. Funeral services were held on Thurs., Sept. 9th at 3 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel of Acton with Blake Carroll, John Ross Reaves, and Mike Moore officiating, Burial followed at the Carter Cemetery in Michie, TN. ............................................................end Have a nice day!
