He worked at Brown Shoe for four years, Wester Station in Crump for seven years, and a trucker for most of his life. He was a member of Crump United Methodist Church and helped with elections for years in the Crump area. Services took place at 1 p.m. on Wed., Mar. 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah. Burial was held at Crump Cemetery in Crump. Mr. Barlow was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Jones Barlow. She was a housewife and homemaker. Mrs. Dickerson was born on Nov. 19, 1902, to William and Bessie Wood Browder. She was a life long resident of McNairy County and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included quilting, gardening and most importantly caring for the sick. Hew was born in Chester County, son of the late William Louis and Susie Mabelle Starks Plunk. He attended school in Chester County, and was married to Luda Joyner Oct. 14, 1928. They made their home in and around Finger and Chester County. Mr. Plunk worked as a contractor and farmed all his life until retiring in 1973. He and Mrs. Plunk had lived in Clarkston, GA, since 1976 to be near their children. Mr. Plunk was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Henderson.
