When you send for a marriage certificate, do you have to have a bond number or do you have to refer them to a microfilm? I checked the 1861 marriage microfilm at the Family History Center and didn't find them listed, so I don't have anything to refer them to other than the marriage date (Jan 28, 1861) and place (McNairy Co) that is on some of her documents, such as her Civil War Widow's Pension Application.
