She was a homemaker and a member of Palestine Baptist Church. Services took place at 3:30 p.m. on Sun., Apr. 30, at Shackelford Chapel in Selmer. Burial was held at Good Hope Cemetery. Officiating the services were Ministers Bobby Bray, Billy Joe Surratt, and Tommy Vandiver. Pallbearers were Wayne Hutcherson, Danny Dodd, Wayne Whitten, Gerald Dodd, Larry Hubanks, and Dale Milford. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Whitten, Freddie Scott, David Milford, Drew Rowland, T.E. Sowell, and Danny Milford. Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Barnes, her parents, Bratcher and Jennie Stansell Hubanks, a grandson, Steve Barnes, a granddaughter, Sheila Rowland, and a brother, W. B.
