    3. Independent Appeal Newspaper, October 6, 1999 ANNA REBECCA ZIRKLE KANAVEL, 60, died on Tues., Sept. 28, 1999, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital of cancer. She was a bookkeeper for Executive Air of Orlando, Fla, and a member of Maggie Jones United Methodist Church. The burial process was cremation. Mrs. Kanavel was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob Everette and Elizabeth Combs Zirkle. She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Kanavel, three daughters, Anita McCaskill of Osteen, Fla., Monica Allen and Elizabeth Ball both of Sanford, Fla, one son, Charles Glen Kanavel of Corona, Calif., two sisters Joyce Zirkle of new Market, VA and Moria Ousley of Miami, Fla., and seven grandchildren. Officiating the memorial service was Minister Bill Martin. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest L. and Catherine Stafford Martin. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company and was a homemaker. She was a member of Fourth Street Church of Christ, Sharon Vaught, a nurse at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, gave special care to Mrs. Higginbottom during her final days. Services took place at 4:30 p.m. on Wed., Sept. 29, at Shackelford Chapel in Selmer. Burial was held at Lake Hill Memory Gardens in Bethel Springs. Officiating the services were Ministers Malcolm George and Jay Johnson. Mrs. Higginbotttom was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Higginbottom and her parents, Frank and Meadie McIntire Tull. She is survived by one daughter, Joe Doris Phillips of Cedar Park, Texas, one son, Wayne Higginbottom of Selmer, one brother, Thurman Tull of Bethel Springs, six grandchildren, nine gr-grandchildren and one gr-gr-grandchild. >>>>>>>> CLYDE B. Services took place at 1 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 30, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville. Burial was held at Pine Hill Memory Garden in Adamsville. Officiating the service was Gene Hannah. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Harris Rogers, his parents, Frank and Lillie Sharp Rogers, and a son, Don Rogers. He is survived by three daughters, Faye Rogers Goff of Stantonville, Mae Rogers Moore of Lake Cormorant, Miss., and Patsy Rogers Ervin of Millington, two sons, Norris Rogers, of Conyers, GA and Wayne Rogers of Adamsville one sister, Velma Brooks of Savannah, nine grandchildren and nine gr-grandchildren. >>>>>>>>>
