    3. Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper Wed., May 31, 2000 STEVEN "STEVIE" BROADWELL, 45 of Enville, dies May 23 of complications from a stroke at Jackson General Hospital. He was born and reared in Hardin County, Adamsville, son of Coleta Wilkins Broadwell and the later Johnny Broadwell. He attended schools in Adamsville and graduated Adamsville High School in 1972. He attended Jackson Sate for 1 1/2 years and went into the commercial building business and worked as superintendent for R.C.C.I. in Memphis, retiring in 1996 due to poor health. He was married to Vicki Lynn Barker in 1983. Services were held at Casey Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 25, at 3 p.m. Interment was at Cabo Cemetery in Chester County, with Rev. Mike Moore officiating. Mr. Broadwell is survived by his mother, Coleta Wilkins Broadwell of Adamsville; his wife Vicki Lynn Barker Broadwell of Enville; two brothers, Glan H. Mrs. Kirk was a member of the Meeks Grove Freewill Baptist Church, a volunteer at Methodist Healthcare McNairy Hospital in Selmer, were she also worked in the Gift Shop and received her 2000 hours of volunteer service pin, member of the Stantonville Volunteer Fire Department's Quilting Club, played the annual Senior Games in Clarksville, Volunteered for numerous fundraisers and functions for the Town of Finger. Services were held at 1 p.m. on Fri., May 26, at Shackelford Chapel, in Adamsville, with ministers Charles Linam and Billy Joe Stewart officiating. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sun. May 29, at Dicey Cemetery in Weatherford, TX. She was proceeded in death by her husband Mancel Kirk of Stantonville; 2 daughters, Sheila Taylor of Stantonville, and Linda Cooley of Moss Point, MS; 1 son, Billy Ray Nicholls of Jackson, MS; 1 step-son Lennie Kirk of Finger; 4 sisters; Allie Wade, Rachel Byrd, Bonnie Ainsworth, and Fredina Ellis all of Jackson, MS; 3 brothers; John Ainsworth of Braxton, MS, Ulius Ainsworth of McKee MS, and James Ainsworth of Ft. Mr. Rowland is survived by his wife Jeanette Byrd Rowland, his parents Jessie and Reathel Parsons Rowland of Hornsby, 2 daughters: Tammy Rowland Carroll and Donna Rowland, both of Bethel Springs. HAROLD WALLACE VINSON, 73, of Adamsville, died Sun., May 28, 2000, at 234 Old Shiloh Road in Adamsville of diabetes. Mr. Vinson was a retired Pharmacist and Physician. He served in the Army Air Force, was a member of the Presbyterian Church, and a pharmacist in Adamsville for many years. He obtained a M.D. degree in 1956 and began medical practice in Adamsville in 1957. He retired Feb,. 1, 1994 in Selmer. He delivered over 6,000 babies in his career. Memorial contributions may be sent to the America Diabetes Association, Memphis Affiliate. Services were held Mon., May 29, at 2 p.m at Shackelford Chapel, in Adamsville, with burial at Adamsville Cemetery. He is the son of the late Harold Pettigrew and Wilma Wright Vinson. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Kaye Vinson, 1 daughter, Dianne Vinson Stevens of Bolivar, 3 sons: Harold W. Vinson, Jr. of Cordova, Terry B. Vinson of Jackson and Michael L.
