    3. Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper Wed., Feb. 16, 2000 ROBBIE JEAN STANSELL McCOY, 68, passed away Jan. 27, 2000, after a long illness at Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville. She was a cross-county truck driver before her illness. Robbie was preceded in death by her parents William Stansell and Loadie Stansell Nelson, a brother Tommy, and her brother William (Bill) who passed away the day before her on the 26th. Robbie is survived by threes sons; Russell Billy Sherron of Savannah, Aubrey McElroy of Johnson City, and Anthony McElroy of Longview, Texas, two daughters, Dottie Sherron King of Selmer and Rosie Sherron Salvucci of Lawton. She has one half brother, Aaron Nelson of Henderson. In addition , one half sister Evelyn Nelson of Longview, Texas. She has ten grandchildren and three gr-grandchildren. Grave side services for Robbie was held on Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. with burial at Old Estes Cemetery in Chester County. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> WILLIAM (Bill) STANSELL. Catholic funeral rights were conducted on Fri,., Jan. 28, 2000, at 10 a.m. at St. Clemente Mission for William (Bill) Stansell, 73 of Bakersfield, Calif., who passed away on Jan. 26, 2000, after a long illness. Msgr. Ralph Belloumini officiated. Interment was at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Bill was a long time resident of Kern County, but was originally from Chester and McNairy Counties, with relatives still living in this area. He owned and operated Bakersfield Flower Shop and Wedding Chapel for 37 years. He was a member of the Hillcrest Lions Club, Bakersfield Elks Lodge, and of The Bakersfield Country Club. Bill was survived by his wife Velia of Bakersfield, two sons, Billy Stansell of Stoneyford, CA, Rodney Stansell of Minnesota, and two daughters, Joyce Ferdinand of Benicia, CA, and Sherry Barfield of Houston, Texas. He has one sister, Robbie Jean Stansell McCoy of Adamsville, one half sister Evelyn Nelson of Longview, Texas, and one half brother, Aaron Nelson of Henderson. He had several grandchildren and gr-grandchildren also of California. Bill was preceded in death parents William Stansell and Loadie Stansell Nelson, a brother Tommy, and grand daughter Shirley. She as a homemaker and a Presbyterian. Services took place at 3 p.m. on Sun., Feb. 13, 2000, at Shackelford Chapel in Selmer. Burial was held at Liberty Cemetery in Bethel Springs. Officiating the services was Minister Ron Bixler. Pallbearers were Freddie Rowland, Keith Plunk, Scott Gilmer, Eddie Jenkins, Jarvis Russom, and Kenneth Tacker, Honorary bearers were Chad Barton, Johnnie Plunk, and Floyd Russom. Mrs. Plunk was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph O. Plunk, two daughters, Nellie Francis Plunk, Mary Jo Cartwright, three sons Edward Plunk, Larry Plunk, and Austin Plunk, and two granddaughters, Marsha Pearson and Margie McCormick.
