He was a heavy equipment operator with T. J. & L. Construction Co. and a Baptist. Services took place at 3 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Selmer. Burial was held at Falcon Cemetery in Selmer. Officiating the services was Minister Billy Joe Stewart. Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Knox McDaniel, brothers and sisters, Lutie, Estel, Parvin, and Marvin, one granddaughter, Cee Cee Cook, one step-grandson, Scotty Plunk, and his parents Monroe and Ressie Lee King McDaniel. He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae McDaniel, one daughter, Pamela Cook of McKenzie, one step-daughter, Connie Plunk of Counce, one sister, Pauline Clifton of Selmer, two brothers, L. D.
