Services took place at 1 p.m. on Wed., July 14, at Shackelford Chapel in Selmer. Burial was held at mars Hill Cemetery in Adamsville. Officiating the services was Minister Jeff Wilson. Mr. Battipaglia was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Battipaglia. He is survived by his mother Lessie Black Battipaglia of Adamsville, one daughter, Amy Jo Battipaglia of Adamsville, two sisters, Jo Ann Mullens of Hernando, Miss,, and Carolyn Wright of Nesbitt, Miss., and three nieces, Jody Lewis, Kathy Gustafson, and Jackie Lance. >>>>>>>>>>>>> JERRY LEE ROSS, 56, died on Mon., July 12, 1999, at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Tiptonville, son of James and Mary Webb Ross of McKenzie. His family moved to McKenzie at an early age, he attended schools there, after high school he served eight years in the U.S. Army. Mr. Ross was married to Lola Travis August 24, 1985. Mr. Ross had lived in Chester County since 1980. He was employed by the Grinnell Corp. as a Supervisor in 1980. Service took place a 1 p.m. on Thurs., July 15, at Leon Johnson Funeral Home. Burial was Cave Springs Cemetery. Officiating the services was Elder Elmer Weaver. Mr. Ross was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Carol Ross, and one brother, Dale Ross.
