She was a homemaker and attended Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Services took place at 1 p.m. on Sun., Aug. 22, 1999, at Shackelford Chapel. Burial was held at Bethesda Cemetery near Selmer. Officiating the services was Minister Zolan Clayton. Her grandsons were the Pallbearers. Mrs. Whitaker was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Whitaker, her parents, Jack and Mary Raines Willis, and a grandson, Donald Whitaker.
