    3. I am not confident at all that the Tidwell family I am tracking is kin. BUT one has to wonder. I have Descendants of Joseph TIDWELL 1 Joseph TIDWELL b: 1824 SC d: .. +Sarah BOWMAN b: 1834 Tennessee d: . 2 James TIDWELL b: 1853 Hardin Co, TN d: . 2 [1] Sarah Alene TIDWELL b: Oct 1858 Hardin Co, TN d: 1940 Hardin Co, TN ..... +[2] Josiah Harvey NORWOOD b: Nov 1855 Hardin Co, TN d: 1932 Hardin Co, TN m: 1874 . 2 John W. TIDWELL b: 1859 Hardin Co, TN d: 1933 ..... +Eliza P. BLANKENSHIP b: 11 Mar 1862 Hardin Co., TN d: 25 Oct 1943 McNairy Co., TN m: 03 Dec 1879 . 2 Joseph TIDWELL b: 1865 Hardin Co, TN d: . 2 Leroy TIDWELL b: Jan 1866 Hardin Co, TN d: . 2 Amanda TIDWELL b: 1867 Hardin Co, TN d: . 2 Harvey J. TIDWELL b: 10 Mar 1872 Hardin Co, TN d: 1953 McNairy Co. TN ..... +Sherman HUGHES b: 15 Dec 1871 Hardin Co, TN d: 15 Feb 1946 McNairy Co. TN m: 1895 *2nd Wife of Joseph TIDWELL: .. +SARAH b: 1834 Tennessee d: . 2 [1] Sarah Alene TIDWELL b: Oct 1858 Hardin Co, TN d: 1940 Hardin Co, TN ..... +[2] Josiah Harvey NORWOOD b: Nov 1855 Hardin Co, TN d: 1932 Hardin Co, TN m: 1874 There was enough cross over between McNairy and Hardin in this bunch to think somebody may have been kin. Additionally, during WWI, a Blasingame is good friends with the niece of Sherman Hughes Tidwell. I am under the impression that they were living in Corinth. The direct descendant of Harvey and Sherm is away and thus not getting email this week. I will forward this to her in case some of it rings a bell with her. Also, I can't swear by the information above since I don't remember where it came from. I can say that much of it came from the Federal Census records. Plus, the Blankenship connection ties to Sherm's brother in law who is a brother to Eliza P. It could have come from my extensive Blankenship correspondents. Plus Josiah Norwood is a first cousin of Eliza and her brother. It gets all confusing. K. S Lee wrote: > Wow! This is a fantastic list!
