    3. Hi everyone! Can you help? Need to know more about William C. (Carroll?) PHILLIPS and Lucinda (ELLIS) PHILLIPS family and their families. They show first show up living in District 12, (Mud Creek Post Office) in the McNairy County 1860 Census. He is listed as a tenant farmer with Lucinda as wife. Their children are James, 17, day laborer, Robert, 10, Marion, 7, Almeda, 5, and Amanda, 2. In the 1870 Census they are shown living in District 15, (Purdy Post Office). He is listed as a farmer. The children are Marion, 15 (17?), Almeda, 13 (15?), Amanda, 11,William, 8, Rebecca, 6, and Rufus, 4. Then by the 1880 Census they had moved to District 13 in Hardin County. According to that census, William was born in Tennessee, his father was born in Kentucky and his mother was born in Tennessee. Lucinda was shown as born in Tennessee, her father was born in South Carolina and her mother was born in North Carolina. In all three censuses he was born about 1828 and she was born about 1824, but when and where? I don't when and where they were married. I'd sure appreciate any help. Thanks.
