    3. Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper on Wed. Apr. 6, 2005 R. J. YOUNGBLOOD, 77, Of Chewalla, TN, passed away on Mar. 29, 2005, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Mr. Youngblood was born May 7, 1927, in Hardin County, TN, to the late Roy and Verrah Youngblood. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Selmer, TN a retried farmer and construction employee, enjoyed camping and talking on his CB radio. He was known on the CB ad "TN ERNIE". He was also a US Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Youngblood was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Lou Britton; one infant sister and infant twin brothers. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruby R. Youngblood of Chewalla; two daughters and spouses, Ruby May Ross and husband Eddie, of Olive Hill, TN and Peggy Davis and husband, Tony of Chewalla; one sister Betty Sue Milford of Stantonville, TN; two brothers, Joe Youngblood of Chewalla, and Lewis Youngblood of Michie, TN; four grandchildren, Tracy Franks and husband, Jeff, and Thomas Ross of Olive Hill, Angie West and husband, Brian of Chewalla, Robert Davis and wife, Patricia of Ramer, TN; seven gr-grandchildren, Drew Franks, Nathan Franks, Brian West II, Tonie West, Ashley West, Ashley West, Malisa Mullins and Joey Davis; and several nieces and nephews. Services were Thurs., Mar. 31st, at 2 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in Corinth, MS, with Rev. J. R. Matlock officiating. Burial followed in Fellowship Baptist Church in Selmer. Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. ......................... MACEAL WARD BEARDEN 100, of Adamsville, TN, passed away on Mar. 28, 2005, at McNairy Regional Hospital. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bearden was preceded in death by her parents, William and Beulah Hicks Ward; her husband, Jesse Aubrey Bearden; one son, William Ralph Bearden; and two grandchildren. She is survived by one daughter, Janie Kiddy of Selmer; two sons, James A. Bearden and Robert H. Bearden both of Adamsville; fourteen grandchildren, forty-three gr-grandchildren and several gr-gr-grandchildren. Services were Wed., Mar. 30th at 1 p.m. at the Shackelford Funeral Home of Adamsville Chapel with Elmer D. Seaton officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Vinson Cemetery in Stantonville. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer were in charge of the arrangements. ............... MARY LOU GRAY, 85, of Bethel Springs, TN, passed away on Apr. 2, 2005, at Jackson Regional Hospital. She was a Pentecostal in faith and a homemaker. Ms, Gray is survived by one daughter, Betty Ann Johnson of Brownsville, TN; two sisters, Nora Lee Isbell Donahoe and Margie Linder of Sellersburg, IN; one brother, Lafayette Isbell of Newbern, TN; seven grandchildren and fifteen gr-grandchildren. Services were Mon., Apr. 4th at 1 p.m. at Center Ridge Pentecostal Church with Bro. Terry Kesley officiating. Burial followed in Center Ridge Cemetery in Bethel Springs. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer were in charge of the arrangements. ............... BERTHA RUTH MOFFETT, 82, of Selmer, TN, passed away on Apr. 2, 2005, at Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, TN. She was a factory worker and a member of Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Moffett is survived by be two daughters Brenda Ford of Adamsville and Jeannie Reynolds of Michie; one son, Billy Moffett of Saltillo, TN; two sisters, Ruthie Eaker of Selmer and Rethie Kiddy of Adamsville; five grandchildren and eight gr-grandchildren. Services were Mon., Apr. 4th at 3 p.m. in the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Castles officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Vinson Cemetery in Stantonville.
