Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper Apr. 20, 2005 Funeral services for ERBIE LEMUEL LOCKE, JR., 76, of Ramer, TN, were Apr. 13th with Bart Warren and David Powell officiating. Burial was at Anticoh Cemetery in Ramer. Mr. Locke died Sun., Apr. 10, 2005, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was a member of Antioch Church of Christ, the Ramer Ruritan Club and the Air Force Sergeants Association. Mr. Locke retired as a Senior Service Master Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force after 26 years of service. Senior Master Sergeant Locke received many awards while in the USAF, including Air Force Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster; Meritorious Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Republic Vietnam Service Medal; Master Instructor and Air Force Outstanding Unit Citation with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters. Mr. Locke was preceded in death by his parents, Erbie L. and Birdie Mae Melton Locke, and one brother, Herbert Locke. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Howell Locke; one son, Doug Locke of Corinth; two daughters, Kathy Pearson and husband Wes of Fullerton, CA, and Donna Horton and husband Jimmie of Burkburnett, TX; three step-sons, all of Ramer, Wayne Melton and wife Leona, Richard Melton and wife Eva, and David Melton and wife Renea; three step-daughters, Cathee Caldwell and husband Joe of Corinth, Linda Kington and husband Jackie of Ramer, and Anita Ingham and husband Bruce, also of Ramer; one brother Dale Locke of Ramer; one sister Grace Collins and husband Vernon of Ramer; eleven grandchildren and ten gr-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Antioch Church of Christ. ........... HAROLD D. RAINES, 69, of Stantonville, TN, passes away on Apr. 12, 2005, at his sister's home. He was a Methodist, U. S. Army Veteran, VFW member, Moose Lodge member, former member of S. Chicago Heights Volunteer Fire Department, and a purchaser. Mr. Raines was preceded in death by his parents, Harry T. and Margaret Emma Blanton Raines. He is survived by two daughters, Annette Raines of S. Chicago, Heights, IL, and Jacqueline Legraf of Crete, IL; one sister, Joyce Price of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren Adam, Jacob, and Courtney Legraf. HENRY CLAY LAMBERTH, 96, of Middleton, TN, died Sat. morning, Apr. 16, 2005, at Cordova Rehabilitation & Healthcare. The widower of Vinnie Mae Lamberth, who died in 1982, he constructed bridges for Southern Railway for 22 years. Mr. Lamberth was born Apr. 1, 1909, in Alcorn County, MS son of the late Bert and Josie Turner Lamberth. He made his home in Middleton in 1960 and was a member of Middleton First Baptist church. Services were 11 a.m. Mon., Apr. 18th at Shackelford Funeral Directors Middleton Chapel with Nathan Lamberth officiating. Burial followed in Ebenezer Cemetery near Middleton. Survivors include two sons, Carl Edward Lamberth of Memphis and James Allen Lamberth of Selmer, TN; nine grandchildren, twenty-one gr-grandchildren and six gr-gr-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he as preceded in death by one sister, Lola Phillips, and one brother, Ruble Lamberth. Mrs. Willhoite was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Willhoite, two sisters, Besse Mae Morgan and Juanita Blair, one brother, Dorsal B. Jones. Jr., and two sons, George R. and Dorsal Willhoite. She is survived by two daughter, Ruth Rogel of Decatureville and Doris Faye Klein of KY; one son, Marvin J. Willhoite of FL: one granddaughter Lori Clifton of Selmer; eleven grandchildren in all, twenty-two gr-grandchildren, and twenty-eight gr-gr-grandchildren. Ms. West is survived by her parents, William Earl and Patsy Lynn Hamm West of Adamsville; one brother, James Brian Hamm of Adamsville; and two grandmothers, Mary Ruth Hamm of Adamsville and Susie Ruth West of Hornsby, TN. He was a carpenter by trade and lived most of his adult life in Corinth. Mr. Hardin was preceded in death by his parents, Lilly and Walter Hardin, his wife of 67 years, Mary Brown Hardin; and five brothers, Jack., Lloyd, Vernal, Tolbert, and William "Bill" Hardin. He is survived by one son, Nelson Hardin and wife, Bobbie, of Selmer, TN; one sister Alcie Petty of Corinth, MS; one grandson Tommy Hardin of Selmer; two gr-grandchildren, Andy and Laura Hardin of Stantonville, TN; and one step-granddaughter, Angie Donahue of Jackson, TN; and many nieces and nephews. Dianne was born in Selmer, TN on Aug. 6, 1950. She graduated from McNairy Central High School in Selmer. Her father, Hugh W. Rogers preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Janice Rogers, of Smyrna; three sisters, Kay Rogers of Smyrna, Wanda Fincher of Covington, GA, and Vicki Singleton of San Antonio, TX; and one brother Jim Rogers of Bethel Springs. She is also survived by two nieces and five nephews. ........... GLENN IVAN CHISAMORE, JR., 83, of Bethel Springs, passed away on Apr. 12, 2005, at McNairy Regional Hospital. He was an employee of Robertson Paper Company for 32 years and a US Army World War II Veteran. Mr Chisamore was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Ivan and Gwendolyn Fish Chisamore. He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Chisamore; one daughter, Ruth Goodell and husband, Alfred C., of Bethel Springs; one son, Theodore J. Chisamore and wife, Pauline Pl. of Vermont; two granddaughters, Juliann Goodell and Ruth Ann Towsley of Bethel Springs; along with several other children, grandchildren and gr-grandchildren in various areas of the county, and nieces and nephews.
