    3. Hello list, I am searching for any information on the Sheffield's of McNairy Co. TN. My husband's great great grandfather was Elijah Sheffield b- 1817 in NC d- 1889 McNairy Co. TN, Maried Dorcus Deaton b-1823 NC, d-1884 McNairy Co. TN Children that I know of are: 1-John W. Sheffield 2-Margaret Sheffield, mar Wash Spencer, 3-William Sheffield, 4-Martin A Sheffield, 5- Mathew A Sheffield, mar Amanda Hubanks, 6-Mary E Sheffield, 7-Jemima A Sheffield, mar John P Rogers, 8-Elijah B Sheffield, 9- Mhanrel Sheffield.
