Do you know who Cain Lowrance's father was? A Daniel and Abram Lowrance came to the northern part of McNairy County about 1824. The Lowrance families in McNairy County today are probably all related.. One of the sons of Daniel was Peter O Lowrance. He and his family were early settler of Kerrville, Texas. In the 1840 McNairy County Census transcribed by Albert Brown, it shows O I Lowrance age 30-40 and his wife the same age. One male 0-5; two males 10-15, one female 0-5, one female 10-15. I think one of Abram Lowrance daughyter's married into the Plunk family. There was a lot of people that came together to Mcnairy County before 1830.
